To The East!

Tomorrow morning at 7:33 am I will be leaving Seatac airport to go to DC. I am going to see my aunt, then I'm going to drive to Farmville Virginia to see my parents.

I look forward to seeing my family. I love them.

I'm afraid of the emotions that will be coming at me.

I hope to have a lot of time to spend with them.

I also hope to write a little bit.

'Art and Status Functions.'

I wonder about this writing.

I wonder about this life.

I look forward to getting grounded again by my family.

About Me

I spend most of my time working as a mental health professional. I have been preoccupied with philosophy, politics, healing, and many other questions for the last 15 years or so. I am currently working on putting together my study of Plato and Aristotle with contemporary work in philosophy, psychology, psychotherapy, and trauma research. I use this place primarily as a workshop for ideas. I welcome conversation with anyone working on similar problems. The major contours of my basic project have been outlined here
