A Full Blown Digression

In AZI I am taking a full blown digression from the issue of the aesthetic life to try and reckon with the ideas of simulation and synthetic experience. I'm pleased to be doing so.

In fact, I shouldn't really even be writing this quick post right now. I should just be trucking away at AZI. But I'm still ruminating quite a lot on how AZI has made this sudden turn, how it just sort of developed in this unexpected way.

EHHHHH who knows.

Just beefing up my posts with some short stuff for fun. I fear it will take a little bit longer than just tonight to get this final section of Part III completed.

About Me

I spend most of my time working as a mental health professional. I have been preoccupied with philosophy, politics, healing, and many other questions for the last 15 years or so. I am currently working on putting together my study of Plato and Aristotle with contemporary work in philosophy, psychology, psychotherapy, and trauma research. I use this place primarily as a workshop for ideas. I welcome conversation with anyone working on similar problems. The major contours of my basic project have been outlined here
