Here I Go

Any minute now I'm going to get up and walk to the light rail.

I'm going to take it all the way to the airport.

I'm going to get on a plane and take it all the way to Detroit.

I'm going to wait four hours and then I'm going to get on another plane.

I'm going to take it all the way to Maine.

I'm going to see my Dad.

I'm going to see my sister.

I'm going to see my family.

I've had a very nice relaxing day here.

I'm ready to move.

So that then I can sit.

So that then I can move later.

I'm ready to make changes.

But I'm scared.

I'm scared I'm not ready.

I'm scared I don't know how.

I'm ready to move.

Here.

About Me

I spend most of my time working as a mental health professional. I have been preoccupied with philosophy, politics, healing, and many other questions for the last 15 years or so. I am currently working on putting together my study of Plato and Aristotle with contemporary work in philosophy, psychology, psychotherapy, and trauma research. I use this place primarily as a workshop for ideas. I welcome conversation with anyone working on similar problems. The major contours of my basic project have been outlined here
